Living testimony of the cultural legacy of Chiloé
The Church of Our Lady of the Rosary of Chonchi is a Catholic temple located in the city of Chonchi, on the Isla Grande de Chiloé. Founded by the Jesuits in the 18th century, it has neoclassical architecture with a façade highlighted by six columns and arches. With three naves and an imposing blue vault dotted with stars, it has undergone modifications over time. Declared a Historic Monument and World Heritage Site by Unesco.
